A very comfortable country house hotel experience. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were nice and the food was top rate.

Very friendly, gorgeous house, excellent food, good location, all together really good, we'd stay again like a shot.
One chair in the bedroom isn't enough for 2 people in a twin room - but of course, one doesn;t want the room cluttered weither, so I can see the problem both ways.

I decided to book with you because you were situated well away from traffic. My wife cannot sleep if she can hear road traffic. It turned out to be perfectly quiet and neither of us heard a sound all night. I was also pleased you gave table service at breakfast, I do not like self service it's too hectic first thing in the morning.
If you must have a complaint the only thing that I can think of is that the bathroom door jammed on the carpet which was a bit annoying. This was compensated for by having a beautiful garden. One other thing if I have to be picky is that I would have liked a snack about 7pm but I did not find the dining menu until the following morning on the hall table. Could I suggest this could be placed in the bedroom.

The charm of Bowlish House shines through, with its comfortable room and friendly staff making my visit enjoyable. A good breakfast set the tone for the day, though the old building does show signs of wear. Despite some minor imperfections, the overall experience was lovely and welcoming.

Perfect for couples seeking charm
The continental breakfast was self-service, with a wide choice. The bedroom was spacious, light, and the bed was very comfortable.
It wasn't exactly cheap but still acceptable.

Vibrant historic atmosphere, Quaint garden views, Artistic collection
Unpleasant interactions with the owner could be improved!!! A serious investment in maintenance is needed !!! Creaky floorboards are distracting during nighttime!!! Wi-Fi connection is frustratingly inconsistent!!!

Clean place with garden views and pleasant and accommodating staff. Central heating, an iron and ironing board, and a work desk in the room and the comfy bed. Good service throughout our stay.
Not very welcoming staff!

What a charming old estate! The fine architecture and warm atmosphere.
The creaky floorboards added character, but I seemed like I was living in a haunted house. Perhaps they could use some ghostbusters?

It was a different style of accomodation and was very relaxed and friendly. Loads of history to the building.
The squeeky floors were a bit much, but it is a very old building.
